kuch gumnam si to kuch khafa khafa
kuch udas si 
kuch bhayanak bilkul jaise khaufnak
chhuti hui  aankhon ki nami
jaise kuch dardnak si

Jeene ki aarzoo to zehen me thi
Thi tamanaye bhi anek
par hume gam bhi hua uske lavzo ka
jisne alfazo ka matlab hi na samjha

Chahat to bas ek mulakat ki hi thi
hausla chand lavzo ka hi tha

jaise chhin gaye ho kisi parindey se uske hi par
